Five years prior to getting started, Jeff was introduced to ACN through a friend, Patrick Maser. The timing wasn't right, and instead of seizing the opportunity, Jeff chose to open a traditional business, which turned into 5 cell phone store locations, in 3 different states. On the outside he appeared successful, but the reality was he owned a business that really owned him. He was working 80-90 hrs a week, his income was going down, yet the expenses continued to go up. Close to bankruptcy, frustrated, and desperate, Patrick re entered Jeff's life with the ACN opportunity at the perfect time. When ACN came across her path, Janet was a recent college graduate, coaching in the sport of sailing, and planning on returning to school to get another degree. Although she had no background in business, she fell in love with the idea of having control over her time and finances, which she knew a traditional job would never be able to create.
Jeff and Janet immediately saw there was a system that was in place, that with the combination of work ethic and coach-ability, they could create success. After five months, part time with ACN, Jeff hit the position of Team Coordinator, and was able to get out of his traditional business. Before ACN, Tom and Lien Bowman’s financial world crumbled. For over 15 years Tom was a success in the mortgage industry and owned his own company. As the economy took a turn for the worst and with not enough money to survive, they were forced to live separately for seven months. Tom’s wife and three children took refuge at her sister-in-law’s home hundreds of miles away while he slept on his brother-in-law’s couch. His main focus was to get his family back together no matter what it took.
The incredible journey began in January of 2010 when a friend saw his struggles and flew him up to Connecticut from Florida to see the ACN opportunity. Not only did Tom meet very successful people in the business, but the whole concept and structure already in place made so much sense to him. Tom went back to Florida with a renewed sense of hope and passion.
In only 10 months Tom achieved the Team Coordinator position within the company and with the compensation promised, he was able to reunite his family to their new home. Humbled by the experience of almost losing everything, Tom’s “WHY” drove him to build a huge TEAM in South Florida that has also extended into many states. He was able to retire his wife who is now a stay at home mother to their three children, his son Triston 13, daughter Malia 10 and son Luke 5. Finally, the pieces of his dreams were coming together, Tom reached the position of Regional Director in January of 2011 and three months later Tom was recognized as Regional Vice President!

Gil Pementel started business ownership in the auto industry, but when an accident happened that broke his back he was forced to find something less physical. After some time as an analyst with Penzoil, Gil became a mortgage broker and owned his own office. In September of 2007, having closed the office, writing loans out of his house and down to $5700 in savings that was quickly being used to cover the debt. Gil was introduced to ACN. Gil says, “When I saw the presentation, the residual income jumped out at me as the world’s greatest annuity. I had network marketing experience in other companies, so I knew the power of network marketing. When I found this opportunity that wasn’t tied to over priced products, but to services that we all use anyway it created the perfect vehicle for me to provide a lifestyle for my family that is second to none. After college, both Erik & Lindsey pursued professional soccer careers. Lindsey continued on with her playing career, traveling the world as a member of the United States National Team. Aaron Menitoff graduated the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and then continued his graduate studies at New York University working in the restaurant industry to pay his expenses. After recognizing that working for others didn’t provide the lifestyle he was looking for, he started his own business. The only thing that changed in his business over 10 years was his income by building one of the largest catering companies in Florida. The 100 hour work weeks persisted with no end in sight. Realizing that this type of a lifestyle makes one choose between time-freedom and money, he always kept his options open for business ventures that utilized residual income. He was impressed by the possibilities when he was presented ACN. The ability to build an international internet based business which deals in recession proof services without the traditional overhead, human resource issues and time commitments that standard business imposed, with negligible liability, made it an easy decision to get started.
